La crue – Spring thaw

Winter 2013-2014 dumped over 4 meters (13 feet) of snow on our area. Now that temperatures have warmed, flooding has become a concern. The snow has melted rapidly and more rain is expected tomorrow forcing the waterways to critical levels. One of the affected areas is Lake Massawippi and the Tomifobia River. The Boynton Road runs alongside the Tomifobia and is currently closed not far from the location of this picture.
